lyrics

Monday, March 25th, 2002
I've arrived in Windom
Charlotte Bell, daughter of Mayor Winston Bell, 19 years old
Missing for six days before the case got kicked over to me

The police report is full of details that don't make sense. Seems the cops did a poor job
securing the area and categorizing the evidence
The report says all of the doors and windows in the house were open,
and on the table there was a spoon still spinning on its head
Six days is a long time for a missing persons case to have no detective
Sounds like her dad, the mayor was adamant she'll turn up.

My first interview will be with Stephen Morgan, the boyfriend of the missing girl
He talked to her the night of, he was the first to get the police involved
All the locals are closing their blinds as I drove by
Seems like they've all got something on their minds that they can't articulate
I've got my work cut out
