Detective's log
Friday? Saturday? I'm losing track of time, I haven't slept for nights

What do they get out of this? Extra terrestrials? What are they after?

The mayor collapsed at a press event and screamed
something the bystander's couldn't understand. The doctors at the hospital thought he was
fine initially, but they found something in his arm. Couldn't identify the metal, but it's been there
for years

The police can't do a single thing, they have no framework to work with. Can't see it, don't
hear it, don't understand it

The kid at the gas station's missing. Stephen talked big about finding Charlotte and then
booked it out of town

No one's left. All that I have is this ritual. The instructions are clear but what it does isn't.

They're close, though, and they've been getting closer all week
